Hello, my name is Joanne and I am a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, who has had the privilege of working with individuals and families for over 31 years in acute care (hospital) and clinic settings.
I have a holistic, strength-based approach to care. I believe health and wellbeing are shaped by a range of interwoven factors—and that life’s balance can shift quickly. My goal is to support individuals experiencing challenges by providing compassionate, evidence-based care in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment.
With experience supporting adults, children, teens and families through complex health and life circumstances, I specialize in building strong therapeutic alliances that empower people to identify their needs, navigate options, and take meaningful steps forward.
I have experience working with individuals requiring medication management. As a Registered Nurse, I do not prescribe medication however I have the education and experience to assist with medication assessment and symptom monitoring.
My practice is grounded in respect and empathy, with an individualized approach to help clients regain balance and move forward with confidence.
